Two Dreamers in the Heart of Seas is a collection of innovative, cutting-edge essays on Analytical Psychology. The title essay revisits the origin of analytical psychology when two dreamers, (Freud and Jung) were in the heart of seas, a mismeeting with lasting implications for both psychoanalysis and depth psychology.
Another essay gives an extraordinary and unique account of Naomi Nir’s analyses, first with Erich Neumann and later with Emma Jung, based on her intimate, if tormented, journal. A pivotal chapter, “Who is my Jung?” explores author’s relationship to Jung the person and his theory and introduces the concept of “Jung image.”
